From a quick glance, they look like a normal Nike Air Force 1. But they are not..
The Nike SB Air Force 1 has been completely reworked, and honestly this might be the best the silhouette has ever felt on foot.
Nike SB rebuilt it with skating in mind. The AF1 has had an air unit in the heel since we can remember, we’re not sure if they changed that at all, but the cushion feels more bouncy than a normal AF1. The shape is slimmer and sits lower, so it doesn’t feel like you’re walking around in bricks. (No offence to the OG AF1 fans, but that’s what they feel like to us).
The most comfortable change to us is the padding around the tongue and collar. It gives it that SB feel without making them look too bulky.
From a distance, it’s still an AF1. On foot though, it’s a completely different experience.
Kudos to Nike and Nike SB for all the effort in these.
